Brand Preference Stats from American Marketing Association

Brand Preference

Sony takes 1st prize for the sixth year in a row as the favorite brand among US adults, according to an onlone study of more than 2,300 adults conducted by Rochester NY-based Harris Interactive, Inc. in July 2005. Next in line is Dell, then Kraft. Coca-Cola drops to 4th place this year from 2nd last year. Other brands that received a large number of mentions -- but not enough to join the Top 10 list -- included Apple, Pepsi-Cola, General Mills, Kellogg's, Maytag, Whirlpool, Kenmore, Nike and Chevrolet.
