Physicians For Peace

Thanks to the Southside edition of Hampton Roads' Executive Lifestyle Magazine for highlighting Norfolk-based Physicians for Peace in their most recent issue. (click on the logo above for their website and a PDF of this issue)

Physicians for Peace sends teams of volunteers, including physicians, dentists, nurses and other healthcare providers, on missions to places where their healing skills are needed most, including Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Central America, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and beyond. Their teams have united doctors from Iran and Iraq, Turkey and Greece, Palestine and Israel, the Philippines and Japan.

Our friend, Dr. Ed Lilly-pictured above, is one of the valiant volunteers. Makes one proud to be a Hampton Roads resident.

Hi, Cliff-

Yes, I'm very familiar with PFP, thanks to Ed Lilly. Ed is a great supporter of WHRO, where my fiance (Bert Schmidt) is CEO. If you ever have a need for great marketing, give me a shout. I'm always happy to help. NPs are a special love of mine. I taught a class at TCC's ANPE recently on Niche Marketing (for little to no cost) for NPs.

And, we're neighbors, in fact. I live in the Freemason 'hood.

Best wishes,
Missy
